Erbauer ERB121SDS SDS-Max Hammer Drill (6kg)

The ERB121SDS was Erbauer's full-size corded SDS-Max hammer drill, sold through Screwfix and B&Q. At around 6kg it sat in the classic combi-hammer class: big enough for large-diameter masonry drilling and proper chiselling, but still light enough to use for wall work as well as floors. For many buyers it was the first affordable route into SDS-Max, undercutting the trade brands by a wide margin while taking the same standard SDS-Max bits and chisels.

Its appeal was simple: drilling and chiselling modes, a side handle and depth stop, and enough impact energy for jobs an SDS-Plus drill would struggle with, such as breaking out door openings, lifting screed and drilling holes for waste pipes.
